Please only use the on-site medical service for acute health problems that arise during the festival and not for long-term health problems. Incorrect use of the service can lead to delays in providing care to others who need urgent help.
We recommend that you visit a regular doctor before attending the festival to take care of any ongoing health problems or necessary prescriptions. In this way, we can ensure that the on-site medical service is utilised efficiently and that every festival-goer receives the support they need.
Thank you for taking note of this important information!
Awareness
With our awareness services, we provide additional support for anyone who needs help, guidance, or simply a listening ear. At the Festivalplaza, you’ll find our Awareness zone - a safe haven for visitors who are feeling unwell, have experienced a stressful situation, or need a moment away from the festival action.
Our Awareness Team can be recognized by their pink vests and will be on-site in the Awareness Zone. You can also contact the team via the AIRBEAT ONE app using WhatsApp or by phone.
During the day, health promotion and prevention services complement the concept, including vaccination services as well as free items such as condoms, sunscreen, feminine hygiene products, earplugs, and other resources for a safe festival experience.
The Awareness Team provides support, listens, offers guidance, and, if necessary, refers you to medical services, security, or the police.
To provide the fastest possible assistance in urgent emergencies, we would like to draw your attention to an important issue:
In order to provide the fastest possible help in emergencies, we would like to draw your attention to an important topic:
The ‘Sign for Help’ hand signal.
- Palm facing outwards
- Place your thumb in the palm of your hand
- Close your hand so that your thumb is on the inside
This hand signal is a life-saving way for people to discreetly get help in a difficult or dangerous situation.
If you notice this sign on another person, please act immediately and speak to our security staff as soon as possible.
Our security staff are trained accordingly and know how to react to the ‘Sign for Help’ hand signal in order to provide support quickly and effectively.
Together we can help to ensure that help arrives quickly where it is needed.
